Based in Coimbatore, renowned for its quality health care, Clarity Imaging Centre caters to a vast patient population not only from the city, but from the neighboring regions as well. Equipped with sophisticated scan equipments, Clarity strives to provide Comprehensive, Latest And Reliable Imaging Technology - all under one roof.
It was in the year 1999, when a young Radiologist with a passion for Radiology , Dr.K.S.Murugan felt the need for a private MRI facility in the City. A 0.5 Tesla MRI equipment was installed.
Soon the centre set a benchmark for image Quality and Clarity, justifying it’s name. The centre was known then as ‘Clarity MRI centre’ – a facility dedicated only to MRI. Some of the major hospitals in the City and neighbouring regions referred their patients regularly.

As a pioneer in the field of MRI, an upgrade to cutting edge imaging technology deemed necessary at the appropriate time. An 1.5 Tesla MRI was later installed in 2005, bringing the high field MRI option to the City for the first time. Then, acceding to the popular demand from Doctors, other imaging modalities were added in 2008, providing entire range of imaging options to patients, under one roof.
Since 2017 another branch of Clarity is operational at Ramanathapuram (Trichy Road) to cater to the growing healthcare demand in the city.

Chief Radiologist & Managing Director.Having completed under graduation from Madurai Medical College, Dr.Murugan pursued his post graduation in Radio diagnosis from Manipal Academy of Higher Education. Fortunate to have exposure to MRI in the early days, he developed a keen interest in this field. Subsequently he has done MRI fellowship training in Germany and Switzerland under internationally acclaimed faculties. A passionate teacher, he is a much sought after speaker in the Radiology academic circle.
